Compared to the same period last year, domestic sales increased by 11.5%, and overseas sales increased by 7.8%.
In the domestic market, 51,503 units were sold, marking an 11.5% increase compared to the same month last year.
For sedans, a total of 17,793 units were sold, including 9,131 units of the Grandeur, 2,539 units of the Sonata, and 6,100 units of the Avante. For RVs, a total of 14,635 units were sold, including 3,922 units of the Palisade, 2,124 units of the Santa Fe, 3,636 units of the Tucson, and 3,070 units of the Casper. The Porter recorded 6,591 units, and the Staria recorded 2,951 units. Medium and large buses and trucks accounted for 1,178 units.
The premium brand Genesis sold a total of 8,355 units, including 944 units of the G90, 4,057 units of the G80, 1,881 units of the GV80, and 1,149 units of the GV70.
In the overseas market, sales reached 254,793 units, a 7.8% increase compared to the same month last year.
A Hyundai Motor Company official stated, “This year, we will launch competitive new models such as the fully redesigned Kona and Santa Fe, as well as the first high-performance electric vehicle Ioniq 5 N, while promoting product development suitable for each regional market situation and strengthening local production systems.” He added, “Despite ongoing various management uncertainties, we will maximize sales through production and sales optimization and expand market share by improving the mix centered on high value-added models.”
