The ‘Job Support Project Centered on Regional Specialized Industries’ is an employment linkage project aimed at minimizing mismatch rates through in-depth counseling for job seekers and improving the perception of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on recruiting companies and job seekers mainly in industrial complexes such as the Daeyang Industrial Complex and the Ceramic Industrial Complex in Mokpo City.

The main employment sectors are companies in the fisheries and food manufacturing industries located in the Daeyang Industrial Complex and others.

Additionally, the ‘Smart Cultural Tourism Youth and Middle-aged Startup Support Project’ is promoted in collaboration with the Mokpo Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It targets youth and middle-aged individuals aged 18 to 60, operating professional education programs, providing initial business funds, and conducting startup consulting to minimize trial and error and increase startup success rates.

A city official stated, “Through this project, we expect to resolve mismatches by linking customized jobs between job seekers and recruiting companies, which will help alleviate employment difficulties for our city’s youth and middle-aged population.”
