Accordingly, Buk-gu will focus on four areas: ▲child abuse prevention and awareness improvement ▲activation of reporting and early detection ▲strengthening cooperation systems with related organizations ▲enhancing protection and follow-up management for abused children.

First, to strengthen child abuse prevention, various activities such as periodic awareness improvement education for residents and public officials, campaigns, and events for Child Abuse Prevention Day will be carried out.

In addition, the e-Child Happiness Support System will be utilized to detect abused children early, and cooperation systems with related organizations such as the Child Protection Agency, Northern Police Station, and Eastern Office of Education will be strengthened.

Furthermore, upon receiving reports of child abuse, prompt on-site investigations will be conducted to provide case management, foster care, facility admission, and welfare services for the abused children.

For children at high risk of abuse, joint inspections with related organizations will be conducted to check the children's physical and psychological condition and caregiving environment.

Moon In, the head of Buk-gu Office, said, “We will implement this plan thoroughly to eradicate child abuse,” and added, “We will continue to work with various related organizations to prevent child abuse and promote children's rights so that children can grow up safely and healthily.”
