Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Launches Development of Tourism and Recreation Facilities in Hoihwa-myeon Area

Signing of Investment Agreement with Wooseok Tourism Development

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] On the 1st, Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province signed an investment agreement at the county office with Wooseok Tourism Development to create tourism and leisure facilities in the Hoihwa-myeon area to revitalize the local economy.

The agreement includes ▲ Wooseok Tourism Development investing approximately 150 billion KRW to develop tourism and leisure facilities (sports and accommodation facilities, etc.) on a 1.25 million ㎡ site in the Hoihwa-myeon area ▲ use of local companies during construction ▲ efforts to return part of the operating profits to Goseong-gun ▲ priority employment of residents of Goseong-gun when hiring new employees.

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, signed an investment agreement with Wooseok Tourism Development.

The county will firmly support the investment company within the scope of laws and regulations to ensure smooth progress of the investment and will strive to complete the tourism and leisure facilities on schedule.

Starting with this agreement, formal projects such as consultations with related organizations and resident briefings will be promoted, and the county expects significant contributions to job creation, local commercial district, and economic revitalization due to the increase in tourists resulting from the development and operation of tourism and leisure facilities.
