First, Samsung Electronics showcases eco-friendly activities throughout the entire product lifecycle, from production to distribution, use, and disposal of home appliances, and particularly introduces the 'SmartThings Energy' service.
Through SmartThings, they also present a hyper-connected experience. They introduce the 'Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub+' equipped with a 32-inch screen more than twice as large as before, and the 'Bespoke AI Wall Oven' that recognizes menus and recommends optimal cooking settings using internal cameras and the 'AI Pro Cooking' algorithm. A 'My Bespoke' zone, which maximizes the customized concept of the Bespoke refrigerator, is also prepared. It exhibits refrigerators that are unique in the world by applying personal designs, photos, or artwork, and visitors can take photos on-site with their mobile devices and apply them to the refrigerator panels.
The metaverse-based 3D appliance experience service 'BESPOKE Home Virtual' is also introduced for the first time. The latest lineup of Dacor, a leading luxury built-in appliance brand in the United States, is also exhibited.
Choi Ik-su, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Home Appliance Business Division, said, "Samsung Electronics is expanding the possibilities of customized appliances centered on design and connectivity that consumers can directly choose, as well as focusing on expanding solutions for a sustainable daily life." He added, "Through this KBIS, we will deliver Samsung Electronics' differentiated value in home appliances to American consumers and strengthen our market leadership."

LG Electronics showcases a variety of 'ThinQ UP' products at this exhibition, including built-in appliances such as Signature Kitchen Suite and LG Studio, innovative appliances like Styler Shoe Care and Shoe Case, MoodUp refrigerators, and minimal design appliances unveiled at CES 2023. ThinQ UP is an overseas brand of UP appliances targeting the global market.
Visitors can directly experience UP appliance content in built-in appliances that allow adding new functions through upgrades even after purchase, such as detailed adjustment of the built-in refrigerator's internal lighting brightness via the LG ThinQ app. LG Electronics plans to launch a 48-inch built-in French door refrigerator equipped with UP appliances in the U.S. market within the first quarter and expand the product lineup.
The 'ThinQ Care' service, which manages products in optimal condition using the LG ThinQ app, can also be experienced. This service analyzes the operating status of products based on artificial intelligence and notifies customers of expected malfunctions or risks through the ThinQ app.
LG Electronics also introduces personalized built-in appliances where customers can choose the external door panel. For various Signature Kitchen Suite products such as the 48-inch French door refrigerator, 18-inch wine cellar, and 24-inch dishwasher, customers can select either a luxurious stainless steel material or furniture finish for the external door panel at the time of purchase.
Yoon Taebong, Vice President and Head of LG Electronics North America, said, "We will further strengthen our global built-in market strategy by adding differentiated customer experiences of UP appliances to the unparalleled value of the ultra-premium built-in Signature Kitchen Suite."
