Yoon Sang-hyun, Nam Jin 'Love Shot' Photo Released... "This Is the Real Side"

Criticism of Kim Ki-hyun Photo Controversy "Damaging Party Prestige"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Seul-gi] Yoon Sang-hyun, a People Power Party leadership candidate, criticized Assemblyman Kim Ki-hyun, who was embroiled in a 'photo' controversy after revealing a picture taken with singer Nam Jin. Previously, Assemblyman Kim had posted photos with Nam Jin and volleyball player Kim Yeon-koung, implying they supported him, but the parties involved denied any acquaintance, escalating the controversy.

On the 31st of last month, Assemblyman Yoon posted on social media a photo taken with Nam Jin at a drinking gathering. Yoon said, "This photo is with Nam Jin hyung-nim, whom I truly like," adding, "This kind of moment truly shows communication and empathy." He also added, "I told Nam Jin hyung-nim that I would make candidate Kim Ki-hyun apologize."

Earlier, Assemblyman Kim attracted attention by posting photos with Nam Jin and Kim Yeon-koung on his social media. On the 27th, Kim wrote on Facebook, "I thank Kim Yeon-koung and Nam Jin, who took precious time to support me in the party leadership election and even prepared bouquets," implying they were his supporters.

After the photos were revealed, heated debates arose over the political leanings of Nam Jin and Kim Yeon-koung. Amid netizens with pro-opposition tendencies, malicious comments flooded toward Kim Yeon-koung and Nam Jin, causing them distress.

In response, Nam Jin's side clarified that the photo was taken because Kim was a fan, but Nam Jin is not a supporter of Assemblyman Kim. They also denied preparing the bouquet that Kim claimed to have received. Kim Yeon-koung's side reportedly holds the same position as Nam Jin's.

Regarding this, Assemblyman Yoon targeted Assemblyman Kim, saying, "No matter how urgent the approval ratings are, such outdated promotional tactics only damage the party's dignity and could negatively affect the upcoming general election," adding, "I seriously doubt whether he is qualified to be the party leader for winning the general election."
