On the 31st, the KLPGA finalized the 2023 season schedule and prize money scale at a board meeting held at the association office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The 2023 season will feature 32 tournaments, an increase of two from last season's 30 tournaments.

The total prize money also increased by approximately 2.8 billion KRW from 28.3 billion KRW, surpassing 30 billion KRW for the first time in the history of the KLPGA Tour regular season. The average prize money per tournament expanded from about 940 million KRW to 970 million KRW.

Two new tournaments have also been added. Tournaments with a total prize money of 1.2 billion KRW each are scheduled to be held in the second week of August and the third week of October.

The tournament with the largest prize money is the Hanwha Classic held in August, which increased from 1.4 billion KRW in 2022 to 1.667 billion KRW in 2023. This season, 14 out of the 32 tournaments, or 43% of the total, have prize money exceeding 1 billion KRW. Nine tournaments have prize money exceeding 1.2 billion KRW.

The 2023 KLPGA Tour season opened with the Hana Financial Group Singapore Ladies Open held in Singapore last December. The first tournament of this year is the Lotte Rental Ladies Open held on April 6 in Jeju Island. The season finale is the SK Shieldus·SK Telecom Championship in November.
