[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui University will hold the ‘2022 Dong-Eui University Industry-Academic Cooperation Festival’ at 4 p.m. on the 2nd at the Crystal Ballroom of Busan Lotte Hotel.
On this day, the Industry-Academic Cooperation Festival will be attended by Dong-Eui University President Han Su-hwan, LINC 3.0 Project Director Lee Im-geon, National Assembly member Seo Byung-soo, Panstar Chairman Kim Hyun-gyeom, Rino Industry Chairman Lee Chae-yoon, Busan City Youth Industry-Academic Division Director Lee Yoon-jae, Busan Technopark Director Kim Hyung-gyun, Busan Institute of Science and Technology Director Seo Yong-cheol, as well as local company representatives, officials, and faculty members.
The Industry-Academic Cooperation Festival was prepared to share Dong-Eui University’s excellent industry-academic cooperation achievements for the 2022 academic year, accomplished through the Ministry of Education’s LINC 3.0 project, with local companies and others, in order to find a vision for an innovative industry-academic-research cooperation ecosystem.
The excellent achievements will be presented and exhibited focusing on joint industry-academic technology development projects, technical support projects for difficulties, Capstone Design Competition award-winning works, and startup club activities. There will also be technology matching guidance and networking exchanges among family companies and technology holding subsidiaries.
On this day, Grunge Factory and K.N. will also hold a signing ceremony to transfer patented technologies derived from joint industry-academic technology development projects with Dong-Eui University.
Grunge Factory will transfer patents derived from the project for developing functional water-repellent aluminum surfaces for building materials by Professor Jeong Chan-young of the Department of Metal Materials Engineering, and K.N. will transfer patents derived from the project for developing powder coating technology with improved insulation breakdown resistance by Professor Oh Won-tae of the Department of Polymer Materials Engineering.
