Annual Support of 200,000 KRW per Youth Aged 19-28
[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shim Jeong-woo] Jeonnam Goheung-gun (Governor Gong Young-min) announced that it will recruit applicants for the Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card support program from February 1 to 28.
The Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card support project provides an annual cultural welfare fund of 200,000 KRW to offer youth opportunities for cultural enjoyment and self-development. Starting this year, the eligible age range has been lowered from 21 to 19 years old to expand support.

The eligible applicants are youth aged 19 to 28 (born between 1995 and 2004) who currently have their resident registration address in Goheung-gun and have continuously resided in Jeonnam Province for more than two years.
The support fund is provided as check card points and can be used from April within the province for cultural activities and self-development sectors such as books, movies, performances, and academy courses.
However, public institution employees receiving welfare points, recipients of the ‘Out-of-School Youth Education Allowance,’ and ‘Jeonnam Women Farmers and Fishermen Voucher’ support are excluded. For recipients of the ‘Munhwa Nuri Card,’ 90,000 KRW, which is the difference excluding the Munhwa Nuri fund, will be provided.
