[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Navy Logistics Command (hereinafter referred to as the Logistics Command) conducted a 'Love Blood Donation Campaign' in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross Gyeongnam Blood Center from the 30th to the 31st.
The Logistics Command and the Gyeongnam Blood Center increased accessibility and convenience by installing blood donation buses at the command headquarters building and major workplaces of subordinate units to encourage many personnel to participate in blood donation.

Soldiers participating in the blood donation filled out a preliminary medical questionnaire before entering the blood donation bus, and strictly followed COVID-19 prevention guidelines such as temperature checks and wearing masks while donating blood. After donating, various souvenirs preferred by the soldiers, such as blood donation certificates and movie tickets provided by the Korean Red Cross, were given.
Private Jeong Hyun-jun of the Logistics Command Ordnance Ammunition Depot, who participated in the blood donation, said, “I decided to donate blood after seeing the news that blood supply has decreased due to the impact of COVID-19,” and added, “I hope that the small love of the unit members can be of some help to local medical institutions and patients struggling with blood shortages.”
