[Concall] Samsung Electronics' Smartphone Sales Reach 58 Million Units in Q4 Last Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Samsung Electronics stated in the conference call for the announcement of the fourth quarter results of last year held on the 31st, "In terms of sales volume for the fourth quarter, smartphones recorded 58 million units, and tablets recorded 8 million units."

They continued, "The average selling price (ASP) of smartphones was $240 in the fourth quarter," adding, "Smartphone sales volume growth and ASP increase are expected in the first quarter of this year, but tablet sales volume is expected to decrease compared to the previous quarter."
