[Asia Economy Reporter Han Ye-ju] Samsung Electronics stated in the Q4 earnings conference call held on the 31st, "In the first half of this year, demand is expected to temporarily slow down due to economic slowdown and inventory adjustments by customers, but in the second half, we anticipate demand recovery based on high-performance computing (HPC), data centers, and automotive semiconductors."

They continued, "Our company aims to exceed market growth based on advanced process technology," adding, "This year, we will expand new customer orders for the 3nm 2nd generation with GAA competitiveness and focus on developing the 2nm 1st generation to strengthen technological competitiveness and strive to diversify applications."

Additionally, they emphasized, "As the importance of next-generation package technology in the HPC market is increasing, we have established the AVP business team within the DS division," and stated, "We plan to strengthen operations from advanced packaging development, mass production, testing, to product shipment to expand new business."
