Lotte Confectionery announced on the 31st that its ready-to-eat meal brand ‘Shefood’ has launched the 'Shefood Basic-Focused Fried Dumplings,' featuring a crispy texture and a generous filling.
The Basic-Focused Fried Dumplings are a product that concentrates on the harmonious taste of the dumpling skin and filling, which are the fundamentals of dumplings. These frozen dumplings are a convenient meal that can be enjoyed deliciously anytime without burden. To achieve a crispy texture when fried, corn starch was added to the dumpling dough. The filling combines domestically sourced pork rich in savory juice with vegetables and ginger, creating a rich yet clean flavor. The ratio of skin to filling is optimally set at 3 to 7, considering the balance of the two elements.
Easy cooking and storage are also key features. For pan-frying, heat the pan, add oil, and cook for 4 minutes. They can also be cooked in an air fryer. For the air fryer, evenly coat the dumplings with oil and cook at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. The package features a zipper bag, allowing for convenient storage after cooking the desired amount.
