On the 31st, according to the police, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Violent Crime Investigation Unit has narrowed down 15 construction sites in Seoul as priority investigation targets based on victim testimonies and has launched a focused investigation.


The initial investigation targets reportedly include construction sites such as I-Park in Gocheok-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, Jugong Apartments in Dunchon-dong, Gangdong-gu, and the Sinbanpo redevelopment apartments in Seocho-gu.


Earlier, on the 19th, the police conducted raids on eight construction unions. The targets of the raids included the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Construction Union, the Federation of Korean Trade Unions Construction Industry Union, the Korean Federation, the Democratic Federation, the Industrial Workers' Union, the Construction Solidarity, the National Federation of Union Sites, and the National Construction Union Federation.
