According to the British BBC on the 30th (local time), at least 28 people have died and more than 150 have been injured so far.
According to reports, during a prayer service at a mosque in Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan, near the border with Afghanistan, a perpetrator detonated a suicide bomb vest. It was confirmed that more than 150 people were attending the prayer at the mosque at the time.
The explosion caused the mosque's roof to collapse, and some people were reportedly trapped under the debris.
Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, condemned the suicide bombing in a statement, saying, "The forces behind the incident have no connection with Islam." He also stated that the entire Pakistani nation is united against the threat of terrorism.

Although no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack yet, the British daily The Guardian reported, "The Pakistani Taliban has been accused of similar suicide attacks in the past." In Pakistan, terrorist attacks led by insurgent groups such as the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) continue unabated.
