Operation of 'Visiting Job Matching Dedicated Desk' in Buk-gu, Gwangju

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 30th that it will operate a 'Visiting Job Matching Dedicated Counter' at the Administrative Welfare Centers starting from the 1st of next month to resolve the difficulties in job seeking and recruitment.

This job matching dedicated counter was established to expand the existing Employment Information Center operations to the dong Administrative Welfare Centers, improving accessibility to locations and information, and minimizing mismatches between job seekers and employers.

Accordingly, Buk-gu will install and operate permanent job consultation base counters at three dong Administrative Welfare Centers: Sinyong-dong, Unam 1-dong, and Duam 2-dong.

Professional employment counselors will be assigned to the counters to provide various job information and employment support services, including customized job matching, employment counseling, and guidance on employment support programs.

Additionally, the plan is to enhance post-management such as employment verification, additional job placement, and education support, as well as improve the professionalism of employment counselors to raise the quality of the project.

Moon In, the head of Buk-gu Office, said, "We expect that the operation of the dedicated counters will greatly help job seekers succeed in employment and alleviate the recruitment difficulties of companies," adding, "Since jobs are the best welfare, we will prepare various support measures for sustainable job creation."

Meanwhile, for dongs where dedicated counters are not installed, Buk-gu plans to operate a visiting job support center once a month to assist with the convenience of job seeking and recruitment.
