Kim Tae-wook Appointed as General Director of 'Chungjang Festival' in Dong-gu, Gwangju

Director Kim served as the general director of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Cultural Olympics, the 2019 Korea Culture Month, the 2020-2021 World Heritage Festival, and the 2021 East Asian Cultural City, successfully leading large-scale international events.

In particular, he has a history of creating works that showcased Gwangju's symbolism to the world, including serving as the general director of Korean cultural performances at the 2013 Kazan Summer Universiade, the general director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade, and the director of the closing ceremony of the 2019 Gwangju World Swimming Championships, and this connection has been renewed this time.
