YGPA plans to conduct fire safety management agency services for fire facilities, self-inspections, and maintenance, along with on-site education for safety managers at each pier regarding the status of fire facility installations and fire extinguishing procedures, as well as fire drills to prepare for fire situations.

A YGPA official stated, “This service is conducted not only for legal inspections under the ‘Fire Prevention Act and Fire Facilities Act’ but also to strengthen maintenance of fire facilities to enable initial suppression in case of fire and to establish an initial response system to prevent casualties and property damage,” adding, “We plan to secure a foundation for strengthening safety management of fire facilities within the port.”
