Andaz Seoul Gangnam announced on the 30th that it will introduce a new Mediterranean-style menu to revive winter appetites at the hotel's 2nd floor Jogakbo Seafood Grill. They explained that they will prepare a rich set featuring appetizers made with seasonal ingredients and dishes grilled over charcoal.


Mediterranean cuisine refers to dishes from the southern European regions such as the Iberian Peninsula including Spain and Portugal, the Italian Peninsula including Italy and Malta, and the southern Balkan Peninsula including Greece, Croatia, and Bulgaria. Representative dishes include seafood towers, bouillabaisse, yellowtail carpaccio, and minestrone soup. It makes diverse use of vegetables, seafood, and olives.


The Seafood Grill offers a Mediterranean-style rice bowl set available for lunch. The dishes are topped with fresh seafood or meat and slowly oven-cooked using Italian brown rice. Menu options include grilled salmon, grilled sea bass, grilled large shrimp, lamb shoulder, and grilled chicken. The grilled sea bass rice bowl is prepared with tomato, basil, artichoke, and olives. The lamb shoulder rice bowl is enhanced with high-quality lamb, ratatouille, and rosemary.


The set menu includes a Ni?oise salad with tuna, anchovies, potatoes, and various vegetables, a strawberry Romanoff dessert with Chantilly cream flavored with orange syrup, and coffee or premium tea. Customers can also order a 4-course lunch set menu or ? la carte dishes to enjoy a variety of flavors.
