When ordering sweet and sour pork at a Chinese restaurant, cigarette butts were fried together with the dish, causing controversy.

Mr. A explained, "At the time, my younger sibling, who was eating the sweet and sour pork, felt something was strange, and a cigarette butt was fried together with a piece of sweet and sour pork."

Mr. A immediately called the Chinese restaurant to complain. The restaurant responded by saying, "No one smokes in the kitchen." When Mr. A sent a photo of the cigarette butt, the restaurant made an absurd excuse, saying, "(It's not our fault) it came together from the starch company."

Mr. A asked, "Where should I report this?" and additionally released a recording of the phone call with the restaurant.

The recording contains Mr. A's complaint to the restaurant owner. After hearing the restaurant's ridiculous excuse, Mr. A said, "You shouldn't say that," to which the owner responded confidently, "Then what should I do?" Although all posts by Mr. A have been deleted, they were saved and are spreading across various online communities.

Netizens who saw the story reacted with comments such as, "Blaming the starch company," "Why escalate the issue? They should just apologize and be careful," and "Aren't they afraid of being sued by the starch company?"

Meanwhile, a similar incident occurred in August last year. At that time, cigarette butts were fried in chicken from a franchise chicken store, and the owner's arrogant attitude sparked public outrage.

As the controversy grew, the chicken restaurant posted an apology and decided to voluntarily close, saying, "We apologize for causing damage to other franchise stores."
