Man in His 30s Urgently Arrested on Suspicion of Violating Narcotics Control Act
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man who secretly drugged a woman at a hotel in Seoul has been arrested by the police.
On the 30th, according to a comprehensive report by Asia Economy, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul urgently apprehended a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act and is currently investigating him.
Mr. A is accused of using drugs at a hotel in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 11:50 a.m. on the 28th, secretly administering drugs to a woman in her 30s, Ms. B, who was with him, and committing quasi-rape.
Ms. B reportedly sensed abnormal physical reactions such as headaches and directly called 119, saying, "I think someone put drugs in my drink."
They are known to have tested positive in a rapid drug test. At the scene, suspected drug substances and drug administration equipment were found.
The police are reportedly investigating Mr. A with additional charges of quasi-rape.
A police official stated, "We plan to examine the circumstances under which the victim met the suspect and the process of drug administration."
