Lotte Homeshopping held its first Viewer Committee meeting of the year and discussed operational plans to protect viewer rights, the company announced on the 29th.
Kim Jae-gyeom, CEO of Lotte Homeshopping, said, “I would like to thank the members of the Viewer Committee for providing sincere opinions to make Lotte Homeshopping better,” adding, “We will prioritize viewer trust and listen carefully to valuable feedback to present quality products and reliable broadcasts.”
The Viewer Committee is a consumer rights protection organization established in 2017, the first of its kind in the industry. It is composed of experts from various fields such as economic organizations, the legal sector, and the media, and holds regular meetings once a month. The committee serves as a channel representing viewers by offering opinions on Lotte Homeshopping’s broadcast scheduling and programs and requesting corrections when necessary.
A Lotte Homeshopping official stated, “We have launched the Viewer Committee, a dedicated organization for protecting viewer rights, to collect objective and fair evaluations from customers,” and added, “We will continue to prioritize customer trust and listen attentively to the voices of viewers.”
