[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun has completed the ‘2023 New Year Practical Education for Farmers’ at the Agricultural Technology Center.
The New Year Practical Education for Farmers was held four times from January 11 to 17, providing essential core technologies and information needed in practice to help ensure a successful farming year.
This education was conducted as a core technology course reflecting the changed agricultural policies and responding to the newly evolving agricultural conditions.
The education included common courses that farmers must know, as well as specialized courses in food crops, livestock, floriculture, and healing agriculture, utilizing expert instructors in each field to enhance the educational effect.
Notably, this year, 380 farmers attended, achieving an attendance rate of 158% compared to the plan.
An official from the Agricultural Technology Center stated, “We will continue to take responsibility for lifelong education for farmers through the New Year Practical Education for Farmers and do our best to provide practical help in the farming field.”
