[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] LG Electronics stated in a conference call held after announcing its fourth-quarter results on the 27th, "New orders have surged, and the VS division's order backlog at the end of 2022 stands at approximately 80 trillion won," adding, "Infotainment products account for the mid-60% range of the total backlog, electric vehicle parts make up 20%, and automotive lamps represent the mid-10% range."

They continued, "Although the order backlog at the end of 2023 may be affected by exchange rates, we expect to maintain the growth trend from the previous year," and "With the growth of the electric vehicle market and the LG Magna joint venture, the order backlog will continue to increase."
