[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] POSCO Holdings stated during the Q4 earnings conference call held on the 27th, "We will significantly increase investments compared to last year, but we plan to make adjustments to unnecessary and non-essential areas," adding, "However, the basic policy is to not delay the execution of investments in key growth businesses."

They continued, "The investment focus areas this year by sector will be related to growth," and said, "Above all, it seems that this year will be when POSCO Holdings actively executes investments in the lithium business. We plan to proceed by significantly increasing investments in this field."
