Seongnam-si, Recruiting 100 Youth Interns Promotional Poster for Seongnam City's Youth Hope Internship Program

[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 100 participants for the 'Youth Hope Internship Program' from the 30th of this month to the 10th of next month.

This program provides unemployed youth with the opportunity to gain practical experience and build their careers by working for 10 months at Seongnam City Hall, city-funded and invested institutions, and private consignment organizations in the public sector.

Seongnam City has secured a project budget of 2.187 billion KRW this year and has prepared youth intern positions in 48 fields across 37 departments of related organizations.

The available positions include support for the operation of 28 local Dahamkke Dolbom Centers, support for 7 senior welfare centers, and management support tasks at the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency.

Youth interns will work five days a week from March 2 to December 31, working 4, 6, or 8 hours per day, and will receive a monthly salary based on Seongnam City's living wage hourly rate of 11,730 KRW.

Weekly holiday and annual leave allowances are also provided, so those working 4 hours per day will earn about 1.42 million KRW per month, and those working 8 hours per day will earn about 2.74 million KRW per month.

During the program period, employment preparation education such as interview skills, workplace communication methods, and financial education will also be provided.

Eligible participants are unemployed individuals aged 19 to 34 who have lived in Seongnam City for more than one year.

Applicants wishing to apply should check the eligibility requirements and practical details for each department on the Seongnam City website (City News → Notices), then submit their application form and self-introduction via the Jobaba Apply app.

The city will individually notify the selected candidates on the 23rd of next month.
