The First Family Donation, Hoping to Become Seeds for Local Descendants

According to Sinan County on the 27th, the Haeju O clan Aphae Munjung, consisting of 227 members, was established in 1920 and is celebrating its 103rd anniversary this year. It decides on major affairs such as ancestral rites, property management, and welfare for descendants of the O clan.
Chairman Oh Eun-seok said, “During the clan meeting, the idea of donating scholarship funds to the scholarship foundation was proposed, and the members actively united to carry it out. I thank the clan members who participated in this meaningful cause, and I hope the scholarship fund becomes a seed that plants dreams and hopes in our local descendants.”
Director Park Woo-ryang said, “The scholarship fund donated by the clan is the first since the foundation was established in 2008. I thank Chairman Oh Eun-seok and the members,” and added, “We will cherish this noble meaning and intention and use it carefully to foster local talents.”
