Hyundai Motor Group's 'Hills on Wheels' Video Surpasses 20 Million Views

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Motor Group's technology campaign video through social contribution activities is receiving positive responses from consumers.


Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 27th that the 'Heals on Wheels' video surpassed 20 million views on YouTube within two weeks of its release. The video is a short film depicting the development process of mobility solutions that assist on-site counseling and daily recovery for abused children.


The video explains the difficulties of mobile counseling through an interview with a counselor highlighting the increasing number of abused children, then shows how mobility technology alleviates their hardships and supports their return to normal life.

Hyundai Motor Group conveyed a message aligned with the group's social responsibility slogan, 'The Right Move for the Right Future,' emphasizing efforts to ensure everyone can benefit from mobility. As child abuse has recently become a significant social issue, the video supporting counseling and recovery for abused children has resonated deeply with consumers in terms of sincerity.


Hyundai Motor Group expects this campaign to not only raise awareness and empathy regarding child abuse but also serve as a diverse social application example of Purpose Built Vehicles (PBV) development.


Since 2014, Hyundai Motor Group has been operating the 'I Care Car' project, supporting a total of 142 vehicles to 66 nationwide child protection specialized institutions over eight years. The support amount has reached approximately 3.5 billion KRW.


A Hyundai Motor Group official stated, "We will continue to develop mobility technologies that make human life more comfortable and abundant, and create campaigns that sincerely demonstrate the positive use of technology."
