[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Park Il-ha) held a ceremony on the 26th in the mayor's office to reappoint actor Lee Si-eon as the promotional ambassador of Dongjak-gu.
Lee Si-eon, who is active as a TV drama and film actor, currently resides in Sangdo-dong, Dongjak-gu, and has lived in Dongjak-gu for 12 years.
He appeared on the MBC TV entertainment program "I Live Alone," where he introduced the autonomous community center program of Sangdo 1-dong Resident Center, contributing to promoting the local area.
As the appointed promotional ambassador, Lee Si-eon will participate in various promotional activities by attending Dongjak-gu events and festivals for the next two years.
Promotional ambassador Lee Si-eon expressed, "I am honored to be reappointed as the promotional ambassador of Dongjak-gu, and since Dongjak-gu is like my second hometown, I will do my best to widely promote Dongjak-gu."
In Dongjak-gu, YouTube creator Jjuyang, popular among the MZ generation, and broadcaster Kang Seok, familiar to middle-aged and older adults, are also active as promotional ambassadors.
Park Il-ha, mayor of Dongjak-gu, said, "I am pleased to reconnect with actor Lee Si-eon as a promotional ambassador of Dongjak-gu," and awarded the appointment letter with a request to "promote 'Working Dongjak, New Change' through various activities and enhance the image of Dongjak-gu."
