Park Kwan-ho, Chairman of Wemade, Who Lost 28 Billion Won, Says "I Will Buy Another 30 Billion Won Worth of WEMIX"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Park Kwan-ho, Chairman of Wemade, will invest 30 billion KRW of his personal funds this year to purchase the virtual asset WEMIX. This is the second purchase following the acquisition of 30 billion KRW worth last year.

Chairman Park announced this on the 26th through WEMIX's official blog, WIDIUM. He promised not to dispose of the purchased WEMIX for one year. He explained that based on trust in the WEMIX ecosystem, he will continue to hold the tokens until the circulating supply of WEMIX is no longer an issue.

He apologized for the delisting of WEMIX last year and emphasized that this year they will build a transparent WEMIX ecosystem. Chairman Park said, "I am sorry for causing confusion in the community and investment market," and added, "This year, we will make every effort across the company to increase the value of WEMIX."

His specific goals include ▲strict circulation management ▲creation of a transparent ecosystem ▲generation of more opportunities ▲and making WEMIX a force for a better world.

For circulation management, the existing WEMIX circulation plan will be changed to a circulation limit and will be used after disclosure. This will ensure that the publicly disclosed circulation matches the actual circulation. When investing in WEMIX, not only will there be prior disclosure, but community feedback will also be reflected to improve the direction and method of investment.

To ensure ecosystem transparency, a platform will be developed to allow anyone easy access to the network. Additionally, leveraging blockchain characteristics, it will grow into a platform where anyone can thrive. Using Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), anyone can prove rights and ownership of works and intellectual property, and through decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO), it will foster better content.

Chairman Park emphasized, "We will complete WEMIX 3.0 this year with technological superiority, diverse utilities, and full transparency and security," adding, "We will also improve the value of WEMIX, which has stagnated since the end of 2022."

Meanwhile, Chairman Park purchased 30 billion KRW worth of WEMIX from May to October last year. He promised not to sell the purchased tokens until October 25 of this year. As of December 8 last year, the rate of return was -94.1%, resulting in a loss of 28 billion KRW.
