[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dong-Eui University has achieved the highest grade of excellence for seven consecutive years in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's '2022 University Job Plus Center Performance Evaluation.'
The University Job Plus Center Performance Evaluation assesses the career and employment capabilities of the university and center, as well as employment support activities for local youth, and is rated in three grades: excellent, average, and poor.
The Dong-Eui University Job Plus Center demonstrates strengths in employment support and post-graduation management through various customized programs that enable students to start setting their future career paths, including life planning, from the time of admission, helping them secure employment in their desired fields. It has been selected as excellent every year.
In particular, to support graduates' employment, a three-stage customized management system has been established for the unemployed, those preparing for re-employment, and those wishing to change jobs, providing continuous management and support even after graduation.
This program was selected as an excellent employment support program in 2022 by the Korea Employment Information Service.
Based on these achievements, Dong-Eui University has been selected as a pilot university for the University Creative Job Center project in 2015 and has received the highest grade every year since the introduction of the project performance evaluation in 2016, achieving the longest period of seven consecutive years of excellence among universities nationwide.
Lee Cheol-gyun, Director of Student Support at Dong-Eui University, said, "This evaluation recognizes that Dong-Eui University is at the national top level in the field of students' career and employment capabilities," adding, "The University Job Plus Center will strengthen cooperation with the local community, related organizations, and companies to fulfill its role as a regional hub institution and will do its best to support youth employment."
