Changwon National University Enhances Expertise of Gyeongnam Economic Education Instructors

2023 First Half Workshop Held

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Changwon National University Gyeongnam Regional Economic Education Center held the 2023 first half economic education instructor workshop.

According to the university on the 26th, the workshop was held under the theme of strengthening the expertise of economic education instructors.

Changwon National University was designated as the Gyeongnam Regional Economic Education Center by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance in 2015 to promote regional economic education based on the Economic Education Support Act.

It focuses on providing educational support to socially marginalized groups to establish a foundation for economic independence and operates economic education programs to support the rational economic life of the province's residents.

Center Director Kang Bokyung said, “We aim to contribute to the revitalization of economic education in the Gyeongnam region by enhancing professionalism through strengthening instructor capabilities and discovering new instructors, thereby solidifying the economic education center.” He added, “As a hub institution for Gyeongnam economic education, we will continue to fulfill a pivotal role without change.”
