Support for Online Sales Startup of Agricultural Products Development
Building Local Business Community... Expecting Creation of 70 Jobs
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) has secured 150 million KRW in provincial funds after two projects were selected in the ‘2023 Regional Industry Customized Job Creation Support’ contest held by Jeollanam-do.
According to the county on the 26th, the Regional Industry Customized Job Creation Support Project aims to discover various job projects and enhance employment creation effects by reflecting the unique characteristics of the local labor market. It addresses job mismatches through workforce training and employment linkage tailored to regional industrial demand.
The ‘Agri-food Development Online Sales Startup Support Project’ targets prospective entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs with sales under 150 million KRW within Muan-gun. It supports online market development and product development consulting. The county selected 11 project participants and expects to create 9 additional jobs.
The ‘Local Enterprise Community Building Project’ facilitates convenient recruitment by forming networks among local small and medium-sized enterprises, providing customized workforce training and employment linkage, thereby establishing a stable structure in the local employment market. It anticipates creating over 50 jobs.
The above Regional Industry Customized Job Creation Support Projects will recruit project participants and participating companies from February to March, with the projects running for 8 to 9 months. Upon completion, satisfaction surveys and evaluations will be conducted to improve project efficiency.
Governor Kim San stated, “Being selected for projects that can directly and indirectly create jobs based on the characteristics of the local employment market allows us to implement job projects more efficiently. We will do our best to communicate continuously with job seekers and recruiting companies to develop the projects in a better direction.”
