Samyang Foods announced on the 27th that it will operate a pop-up store for its premium dried noodle brand, Kootique, at 'LES601 Seongsu' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
Samyang Foods introduced the premium dried noodle brand 'Kootique' in December last year. The first product of Kootique is 'Kootique Essential Jjajang.' To commemorate the launch of Kootique Essential Jjajang, Samyang Foods planned this pop-up store. Visitors can experience an exhibition space and photo zone where they can see the brand story and products. Those who upload 인증샷 (proof shots) on social networking services (SNS) will be entered into a draw to receive prizes.
In addition, there will be product tastings and a lucky draw event. Participation is limited to 20 people per session, with 10 sessions held daily. Priority is given to those who make online reservations in advance. Details about the advance reservations can be found on the official Instagram account.
Meanwhile, the premium dried noodle brand Kootique is the first in the domestic ramen market to be made using a method where the noodles are boiled in water and then dried at low temperatures for a long time. It features a soft texture similar to fresh noodles. Boiled dried noodles prevent starch from leaching during cooking, which keeps the broth clear and makes swallowing smoother.
A Samyang Foods representative said, "We opened the pop-up store to provide a special experience for the new brand Kootique," adding, "We plan to expand contact points with consumers and actively communicate especially with the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) to grow the premium dried noodle market."
