LG Household & Health Care's CNP announced on the 26th the launch of the ‘Professional Solution Sensitive Single Essence’.

The Professional Solution Sensitive Single Essence is a highly soothing single essence containing only licorice extract, a next-generation ingredient following Cica, as its sole ingredient. The soothing and moisturizing formula, rich in the active components of licorice, gently calms and moisturizes skin weakened by external irritants that have damaged the skin barrier.

In particular, it contains ‘Black Licorice’ extract, made by selecting licorice roots aged 3 to 4 years or more with a high content of active ingredients, and enhancing the efficacy through a high-temperature, high-pressure manufacturing process. This special process results in Black Licorice extract that offers 6.9 times the moisturizing effect and twice the soothing effect compared to Centella Asiatica extract.

Additionally, its mild texture revitalizes sensitive and dull skin lacking moisture, improving concerns such as moisture barrier, micro-keratin, and skin transparency for sensitive skin. The powerful soothing effect of 100% single licorice extract provides effective calming benefits to skin stressed by external irritants such as physical, chemical, and UV exposure.
