Victory Speech Targeting Biden Amid Health Controversy After Submitting Score Two Days Before Opening at Tournament Held on Own Golf Course
Former U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed to have won a senior golf tournament held at a golf course he owns, was revealed to have not participated in the first round at all.
On the 24th (local time), the American regional newspaper Palm Beach Post reported that former President Trump boasted on his social media platform 'Truth Social' that he won a tournament recently held at Trump International Golf Club located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Former President Trump said, "It is a great honor to win at the best golf course in the United States. Many excellent golfers who hit the golf ball far and straight competed," adding, "To win the tournament, you need strength and stamina."
He continued, "The reason I could win is because I have excellent strength and stamina. I have the strength and stamina to run the country," which is interpreted as a remark targeting President Joe Biden, who is elderly and has had several health issues raised.
However, it was reported that during the two-day tournament held on Saturday and Sunday using the Stableford scoring system, former President Trump did not participate in the first round on Saturday at all. On the day the first round was held, Trump attended the funeral of Lynette Hardaway, a fervent supporter of the Republican Party.
Instead, former President Trump played a round at Trump International Golf Club on Thursday and explained that he asked the tournament organizers to count that score as his first-round score. The score recorded for former President Trump was 40 points, the highest among the first-round participants, reportedly 5 points ahead of the second-place participant.
Meanwhile, Trump’s golf cheating victory has been exposed once before. Rick Reilly, a famous American golf journalist, introduced cases in his 2019 book Commander in Cheat where former President Trump won or falsified scores to win amateur tournaments held at golf courses he owns without even participating.
