LG Household & Health Care announced on the 25th that it has launched ‘Elastine Silk Therapy Bio Bond 17’ (hereinafter Bio Bond).
Bio Bond is a product jointly developed with Silk Therapy, a U.S. professional hair brand that has accumulated know-how from salons worldwide over the past 31 years. It is characterized by its focus on fundamentally caring for the causes of damaged hair rather than providing temporary effects, showing differentiated hair damage improvement effects.
First, it contains the ‘BioSilk™ Complex,’ which applies biomimic patented bio-bonding technology to silk protein components identical to the 17 amino acids that make up hair. In particular, the shampoo, ampoule, and treatment focus on improving the surface of damaged hair and managing hair that lacks strength and elasticity due to protein deficiency to become healthy as if reborn.
The product is composed of four steps?bonding shampoo (original and rich), bonding ampoule, bonding treatment, and bonding essence?shortening the entire process and time of salon clinics. The ampoule and treatment are the core steps of Bio Bond, penetrating protein deep into the hair and bonding the outer hair protein to create a sealing effect that prevents protein loss. In actual product tests, using the ampoule alone improved protein penetration by 304.1% after seven uses, and protein bonding improved by 225.5% with just one use. Through a total of nine human application tests, improvements in hair cuticles, elasticity, and breakage were also proven.
An LG Household & Health Care official stated, “We wanted to prove that the effects of time-consuming and expensive salon clinics can be enjoyed by using this product consistently every day,” and emphasized, “The people who actually made the product use only this product daily, so we are confident in its quality.”
Bio Bond is available for purchase at online malls including GS SHOP, large supermarkets, and Olive Young.
