Using Favorable Poll Results to Engage in Psychological Warfare
People Power Party 3·8 Convention, 100% Party Member Voting
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The candidates running for the People Power Party leadership election on March 8 continued their competition for votes even on Lunar New Year’s Day, the 22nd. Assemblymen Ahn Cheol-soo and Kim Ki-hyun engaged in a 'psychological battle' by presenting favorable poll results for themselves.

Currently, the two are neck and neck in various polls released just before the Lunar New Year holiday, competing for first and second place. Since the March 8 leadership election will be conducted with 100% party member voting, both assemblymen are asserting that they hold the 'number one position in party support,' engaging in a power struggle.
Meanwhile, Assemblyman Yoon Sang-hyun visited a welfare facility in Huam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and then moved to Itaewon Station nearby to console the families of the 'Itaewon tragedy,' continuing his on-site activities in the metropolitan area. Former Assemblywoman Na Kyung-won, who is deliberating whether to run, reportedly spent a 'quiet holiday' without any particular schedule or message.
