Gijang-gun Jeonggwan 119 Safety Center and Volunteer Fire Brigade Support Welfare Blind Spots

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Dong-guk] Busan Gijang-gun announced that Jeonggwan 119 Safety Center (Center Director Jeong Sang-yoon) and Jeonggwan Volunteer Fire Brigade (Captain Seok Geum-ok) donated gift certificates worth 1 million won and daily necessities to the Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center.

Jeonggwan 119 Safety Center and Jeonggwan Volunteer Fire Brigade donated goods for underprivileged households in the district.

The firefighters of Jeonggwan 119 Safety Center and the Jeonggwan Volunteer Fire Brigade, who have always been leading efforts to create a safe community, raised 1 million won in donations ahead of the Seollal holiday to support underprivileged households in the area. They donated large mart gift certificates and daily necessities, which will be delivered to five households in need identified through Jeonggwan-eup’s welfare blind spot discovery program.

Center Director Jeong Sang-yoon and Fire Brigade Captain Seok Geum-ok said, “We gathered our sincerity together with the hope that the underprivileged residents in the area can have a somewhat abundant holiday ahead of the Seollal holiday,” and added, “We hope the donated items will help them celebrate the Seollal holiday.”
