Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 20th that it has made an early payment of 15 billion KRW to dairy farmers and partner companies ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
This early payment targets 399 dairy farms across the country that supply raw milk to Namyang Dairy Products, as well as 17 dairy cooperatives and OEM partner companies. The total amount is approximately 15 billion KRW.
Namyang Dairy Products explained that the purpose of this early payment is to alleviate the financial burden of those struggling due to inflation and economic recession. Namyang Dairy Products received the highest grade in the Fair Trade Agreement implementation evaluation conducted by the Fair Trade Commission in December last year, as part of its efforts to expand win-win management.
A representative from Namyang Dairy Products said, “We are always grateful to the dairy farmers and partner companies who have stood with us during difficult times. We hope this helps with their financial management, even if just a little.”
