He added, "We will continue to make efforts to establish new medical schools and foster regional public medical personnel tailored to the medical characteristics of the adjacent regions with the national universities that held the joint forum."

Meanwhile, through the joint petition, Suncheon National University plans to adopt a resolution urging national support for ▲allocation of medical school quotas for the establishment of medical schools ▲establishment of a regional public medical personnel training system ▲establishment of regional national university medical schools and affiliated hospitals based on close cooperation with national universities in medically underserved areas nationwide, and submit it to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
