Fairmont Ambassador Seoul announced on the 20th that it donated the entire proceeds (6 million KRW) from the sale of teddy bears to the Make-A-Wish Korea Foundation to support wish fulfillment activities for children battling incurable diseases.
Make-A-Wish Korea is the world's largest wish fulfillment foundation that grants wishes to children with incurable diseases. Fairmont hotels worldwide have conducted activities to spread hope annually in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Fairmont Ambassador Seoul donated a total of 6 million KRW from the proceeds of teddy bear sales purchased by hotel visitors during December last year to Make-A-Wish Korea. The donation ceremony was held the day before at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul. Frank Loasson, the hotel general manager, and Kim Kyung-wook, the secretary general of Make-A-Wish Korea, attended the ceremony.
Fairmont Ambassador Seoul expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank everyone who participated in the donation with great interest despite difficult circumstances," and added, "We will continue to contribute to making society a better place through ongoing and diverse social contribution activities."
