[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Korean Air announced on the 20th that it will resume flights to four major European cities starting at the end of March. Beginning with Incheon-Prague and Incheon-Zurich routes, it will operate the Incheon-Istanbul and Incheon-Madrid routes three times a week each from the end of April. This marks the resumption of flights after three years since they were suspended in March 2020 due to COVID-19.
First, the Incheon-Prague route will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting March 27. The Incheon-Zurich route will resume three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting March 28. The Incheon-Istanbul route is scheduled to operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting April 24. The Incheon-Madrid route will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting April 25.
Meanwhile, Korean Air plans to actively respond to the increasing demand for overseas travel in the full-fledged post-COVID-19 era this year and continue efforts to normalize passenger services.
