[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University achieved a remarkable result last year by having all candidates pass the dental hygienist exam, including the nationwide top scorer.
Kyungbok University announced on the 19th that Hwang Min-kyung, a third-year student in the Department of Dental Hygiene, scored 293 out of 300 on the "2022 National Dental Hygienist Examination," ranking first among 5,575 examinees nationwide. Additionally, all 157 graduating students from the Department of Dental Hygiene passed the exam, significantly surpassing the national average pass rate of 82.1%.
The Department of Dental Hygiene at Kyungbok University recorded the highest pass rate nationwide with 100% in 2022, following 97.5% in 2020 and 97.6% in 2021.
Kwon Soon-bok, head of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Kyungbok University, stated, "This achievement of a 100% pass rate is the result of the university's full support, systematic student management by the faculty, and the students' passion for learning coming together as a trinity. We will continue to develop systematic educational programs to train dental hygienists with professional competencies."
