Daewon Pharmaceutical Launches 'Jangdaewon White Glutathione Elastin'

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Daewon Pharmaceutical announced on the 19th that its comprehensive health functional food brand Jangdaewon has launched a new product, ‘Jangdaewon White Glutathione Elastin.’

Jangdaewon White Glutathione Elastin is a health functional food composed of high-purity glutathione yeast extract, elastin hydrolysate derived from North Atlantic cod, and vitamins C and E. Glutathione is an antioxidant substance that plays an important role in the body's redox reactions. It is known that the body's glutathione decreases by about 15% every 10 years starting from the 30s, and after the 60s, it is reduced to about half compared to the 30s.

In addition to high-purity glutathione, Jangdaewon White Glutathione Elastin contains collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which are the three major components of the skin dermis. It also includes 200 mg of vitamin C, which acts as a coenzyme in collagen production and creates a synergy with glutathione.

A Daewon Pharmaceutical official said, “The product is made with a lemon flavor so that anyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy taking one packet a day,” adding, “It can be diluted in water or juice, but it can also be taken directly without water.”
