Naver Webtoon, Visual Puzzle Game 'Yeosin Gangrim' Pre-Registration Open

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] Naver Webtoon announced on the 19th that it has started pre-registration for the mobile puzzle game "YeoSinGangLim," developed based on the popular webtoon "YeoSinGangLim." The game was developed by Line Studio, with Studio Lico jointly handling publishing.

This game features main characters from the webtoon YeoSinGangLim, such as Im Ju-gyeong, Lee Su-ho, and Han Seo-jun, as battle characters in a match-3 puzzle genre where players match and burst three or more blocks of the same color. Players can compete with global users to raise their rank in tiered leaderboards. Like the original work, the game’s trendy illustrations are a strong point. As players progress, the visuals of the battle characters are upgraded, and customization is possible through a dressing feature. In particular, based on Line Studio’s expertise in global casual games, the game incorporates strategic fun by utilizing various items such as skill cards, helpers, and rules.

Naver Webtoon's "YeoSinGangLim," which began serialization in 2018, has recorded a cumulative global view count of 5.8 billion. The story follows an ordinary high school girl, Im Ju-gyeong, who transforms through makeup and pursues her dreams and love. Naver Webtoon plans to target the global market by combining Line Studio’s game development experience with the fan base of the intellectual property (IP) "YeoSinGangLim."
