During the meeting, the budget settlement for last year and the budget for this year were prepared. It was reported that this year's expenditures increased by 1.7% compared to the previous year, and the budget for the economic sector was increased by 1.2%. The defense budget accounted for 15.9% of the total amount, the same as last year. The meeting adopted the 'Pyongyang Cultural Language Protection Law.'
