At the meeting following the gift presentation, President Shin said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the director and staff who care for our children, the future of Korea, with a parental heart so that they can grow up upright and healthy," adding, "Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries will continue to support the children so that they can grow up without any deficiencies."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries supported social welfare facilities and vulnerable groups in Yeongam County and Mokpo City with Onnuri gift certificates, over 60 bags of rice (20kg each), daily necessities, and other goods worth about 20 million won for this Lunar New Year.
In particular, the rice used for these gifts was purchased from Heungwol Village in Sijong-myeon, Yeongam, which has a "One Company One Village" sisterhood relationship, thereby promoting the consumption of domestic agricultural products and strengthening ties with the local community.
Since its founding, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries has continued efforts to engage with the local community every year during holidays such as Lunar New Year and Chuseok.
