[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Artificial intelligence company Saltlux announced on the 18th that it will offer free consultations for companies wishing to apply for the ‘2023 Industry-tailored Innovation Voucher Support Project.’
The ‘2023 Industry-tailored Innovation Voucher Support Project,’ hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, aims to match demand companies in need of AI and software education with capable education providers to promote digital transformation of companies and enhance the overall competitiveness of domestic industries.
If finally selected as a demand company for this project through screening, companies can receive support worth approximately 70 million KRW, covering AI and software education tailored by job and skill level for employees, related expenses for implementation, as well as company diagnosis and consulting. This program has attracted great interest from small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies that recognize the need for digital transformation but face practical difficulties due to infrastructure and cost issues.
Saltlux not only holds the largest number of AI patents in Korea but also possesses various technologies and products such as ‘Language Studio,’ which allows anyone to create and utilize large-scale language models like GPT; chatbot solution ‘Talkbot Studio’; voice solution ‘Voice Studio’; and cognitive search solution ‘Search Studio.’ It is a leading domestic AI company that has driven digital transformation for more than 1,500 companies both domestically and internationally.
In last year’s ‘Industry-tailored AI Workforce Training Voucher Support Project,’ Saltlux designed a data-driven, highly applicable, and systematic education program, receiving a high evaluation with an average score of 4.8 out of 5 in on-site contribution assessments. It was selected as an excellent education operation institution. Additionally, Saltlux has successfully operated numerous education projects such as SeSAC in cooperation with the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). It has the capability to provide education and consulting optimized for the characteristics and needs of companies.
Small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies interested in free AI education and consulting for their employees can receive free consultations through the promotion center on Saltlux’s official website. Consultation applications will be accepted until February, and early closure may occur if the number of applicants is high.
A Saltlux representative stated, “Improving operational efficiency and creating new industries through digital transformation will be an essential survival strategy for domestic small and mid-sized companies facing various challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and interest rate hikes.” He added, “Based on accumulated project experience and know-how in operating education programs, we will actively support the digital transformation of domestic companies.”
