[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gangwon Province began the first official duty of the 'Visiting Gangwon Provincial Government' Second Headquarters at the East Sea Headquarters on the 18th.
Gangwon Province stated, "'Visiting Gangwon Provincial Government' is a field-centered communication administration where the command team directly listens to the opinions of cities, counties, and residents on-site to seek solutions to current issues."

The operation method will be promoted through 'City and County On-site Meetings' and 'Second Headquarters Duty' which deploys administrative power in the Yeongdong and southern regions to promote balanced development.
On this day, Deputy Governor Jeong Gwang-yeol held the 'Gangwon Province Export Companies Meeting' and the 'Donghae City Hydrogen Industry Ecosystem Activation Meeting' to intensively inspect and promote Donghae City's current issues.
The Export Companies Meeting listens to and discusses difficulties and policy proposals from export company representatives within the province.
The Donghae City Hydrogen Industry Ecosystem Activation Meeting consults on the plan to establish the hydrogen industry ecosystem in Donghae City during the 8th elected term, together with Donghae Mayor Shim Gyu-eon, Donghae Chamber of Commerce, GS Donghae Power, Korea East-West Power, and other related organizations.
Deputy Governor Jeong said, "The purpose of the Second Headquarters duty is to evenly exert administrative power throughout the province," adding, "Although the Second Headquarters building has not yet been constructed, we will ensure that current issues in the Yeongdong and southern regions are well promoted through regular duties regardless of location."
Meanwhile, Deputy Governor Jeong also visited Mukho Market with officials from the East Coast Free Economic Zone Authority to 'shop at traditional markets' in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
The province plans to continuously manage current issues in the Yeongdong and southern regions through monthly command team duties in the Yeongdong area and to hold on-site meetings quarterly to collect residents' opinions from all cities and counties within the province.
